Taking Their Mate [Wolf Packs of Fate 7] (Siren Publishing Ménage Everlasting) Page 12

“Okay.” Evie giggled, but did as he’d asked, lowering her gaze to her lap.

He knocked on the windshield. “Krystal? Boss? Look at me.”

“Curt?” Krystal gaped at him then shifted her gaze to Dane. Her attention moved again to Eric, who was still going through his transformation.

He was sure she’d scream. Instead, her head fell back.

“Shit. She passed out.” Dane made a face at Curt.

“No shit, you idiot. Why the hell did you change in front of her?” Curt waved at Eric who was hiding behind the rear of the car, keeping his body shielded from Evie’s view. “Check her trunk. Let’s hope she has something we can use to cover ourselves.”

Eric popped open the trunk and came up grinning. “We’re in luck.” He tossed a towel to Curt and then another to Dane. “That’s it. Just two dirty towels. Looks like she used them to wipe off the windshields.”

Curt took the dirty towel and wrapped it around his waist. “Run back and get our clothes. Give Drake a call and let him know we have Evie, Krystal, and that asshole Denny.”

Eric nodded then shifted back into his wolf body. With a wolfish grin, he bounded back into the trees.

“What are we going to tell her when she comes to?” asked Dane. “Keep your eyes down, Evie. That’s a good girl.”

“What do you think we’ll tell her?” Curt ran a hand through his hair, caught Evie peeking at him, and sent her a playful scowl of warning. “We tell her the truth.”

  * * * *

Krystal studied the three men crowded on the couch around her. Leaning back, she tried again to wrap her mind around what they’d told her. “You’re werewolves. Men who can change into wolves.”

They were being very patient with her, yet she could see that they were getting frustrated having to repeat the same information over and over. Still, what had they expected? That she’d simply accept what they’d said without any questions?

“Right. And, thanks to you, Evie’s back home with her parents,” added Eric.

“I’m happy she is, but you’re wrong. It was because of me that she was taken.” She hated being responsible for what the child had gone through. Although, from what the men had told her, Evie was doing well. “Are you sure she’s okay?”

“She’s shaken up,” admitted Dane. “But—” He paused and looked to the other two men before continuing, “As a werewolf, she’s used to seeing people shift. Plus, she’s stronger, more resilient than human kids. You need to stop blaming yourself for what Denny did. It’s not like you led him on.”

“So that’s why she’s so fast? And strong? Because she’s like you?”

“Right. The closer she gets to puberty and her first shift, the stronger and faster she’ll get.”

Curt snorted. “If Denny had survived, he would’ve gone through the transformation. Evie said she bit him twice. Even though she hasn’t gone through the change yet, she can still change someone, especially if she bites them more than once.”

“Denny’s dead.” A wash of emotions filled her. “I couldn’t stand the guy, but I never wanted him dead.”

Curt cast his gaze down. “I wish we had held back, but by the time we found you, we couldn’t stop our wolves from attacking, especially when we saw that you and Evie were in danger.”

“And once we tasted his blood…” Eric shrugged, then slumped into the nearby chair.

“I understand. Has anyone tried to find his next of kin?”

“Drake Hardwick is looking into it, but I’m willing to bet he doesn’t have any. Either that, or they haven’t wanted anything to do with him. That’s sometimes how it is with those kinds of guys.”

“I’m not sure what to do now.” She’d awaken at their home, taken their by the men she loved. Since yesterday, she’d remained in the bedroom, thinking, and trying to understand.

“You do what you were planning on doing,” offered Curt. “You move in with us and become our mate.”

“Unless you don’t want us any longer.” Dane’s worried gaze met hers. “Now that you know what we are.”

“Do you still want us, boss?”

She asked the same of them. “Are you sure you still want me to be your mate?”

  “More than ever,” answered Eric.

She swallowed, almost afraid to ask the next question. “Does that mean you’ll bite me and change me into a werewolf?”

“If you want us to.” Curt took her hand. “It’s up to you. No one’s going to force you into doing anything you don’t want to do, including changing.”

“What’s it like?” Her gaze darted from one to the other. “To be a werewolf, I mean?”

Eric took her other hand and squeezed it. “When you’re in your human body, it’s almost the same as you are now. Except that you’ll be aware of the wolf inside you. At first, it’ll be rough because the wolf always wants out. But you’ll learn to control it and to let it out only when you want.”

“But the other times are amazing.” Dane’s eyes sparkled with bits of amber. “You’ll be able to see better, to hear better, to run faster. And you’ll be strong, too. To be honest, sugar, I wouldn’t want to be anything other than a werewolf.”

She’d learned that the amber color in their eyes was part of being werewolves. Pointed teeth and quick reflexes were more traits she’d noticed. “I can see how it would be exciting.”

“It is, baby.” Eric smiled. “The transition is kind of rough until you get used to the pain, but you’ll learn to manage that.”

“Can we still have children? Will they be human or werewolf?” Could she raise a werewolf child without being a werewolf herself?

“A child can be born human, werewolf, or a hybrid. There’s no way of telling.” Curt dragged in a breath. “You don’t have to make a decision yet. Take all the time you need.”

“The real question is still unanswered.” Eric turned her hand free and rubbed his palms on his knees. He let out a nervous breath. “Do you still want to be our mate?”

She answered the only way she could have. To leave them, to never know their touches again would kill her. “Yes. I want to be your mate. If you still want me?”

“Why would you ask that again?” Dane frowned, trying to understand.

“Now that you know about my past, that I worked in a strip joint and even danced.” She had to make sure they understood. “But I never, ever did anything other than dance. Never.”

“It wouldn’t matter if you had.” Curt stood, pulling her with him. “We don’t care about your past. Everyone has a past. The only thing we care about is your future. A future that includes us.”

“Then yes again.” She leaned against him, needing to feel his strong warmth.

“How about we take this to the bedroom?” Eric slipped his hand around her arm and gently eased her away from Curt.

But she had another idea. “I want to see you change first.”

“Why, boss?” Curt already has his shirt half-unbuttoned. “We can do that later. After.”

“No. I want to see you now. I want to get a good look at you. Without passing out.”

“I’m not arguing. The faster we shift, the faster we get her into bed.” Eric released her as he started unbuckling his belt.

“That’s a good point.” Dane jerked off one boot, then the other.

She stood back, enjoying the show. If they’d worked in a male exotic revue, she would’ve seen the show every night. Their bodies were magnificent with zero body fat and muscles that made her ache to slide her palms over them. Pecs flexed, tendons burst with power. Their flat, ribbed abdomens called for her to slick her tongue over the tight muscles. They shifted quickly, eager to show her then get to the bedroom.

“Wow,” she whispered. She remembered seeing them before, but she’d thought them vicious animals. Now they were something else, something better. Animals, yes, but they retained the qualities of their humanity. She could see their human thoughts still showing in their amber eyes.

>   Each of them was covered with beautiful dark fur. She touched the top of Dane’s head and was surprised to find the fur coarse under her skin. Their amber eyes glowed, yet still held the warmth she’d come to love. They were huge for even the largest wolves. If they’d wanted to harm her, she’d already be dead.

She drew in a breath, the memory of the wolves attacking Denny hitting her, but she wouldn’t let that ruin what would happen next. Kneeling before them, she opened her arms, welcoming them to move against her. They did, surrounding her with fur.

These are the men I love.

Whether in their animal bodies or their human ones, they were still Dane, Curt, and Eric. Good, honorable men who had saved her life as well as Evie’s.

She hugged them as best she could since her arms couldn’t go around them, and then stood up. “You’re amazing. Each of you. Thank you for showing me. I was worried that I might be afraid of you, but I’m not. You’re still you.”

They growled, yet the sound was soft, not menacing. She eased away, ready for the chase. “Can you understand me like this? If you can, then you know what to do.” Turning around, she ran for the bedroom.

Her breath hitched in her throat as growls erupted behind her. Their large paws reverberated as they pounded against the hardwood floors. They weren’t running as fast as they could. If they had been, they would’ve already caught her.

She threw herself on top of the bed, twisting around. Slowly, one at a time, they entered the room and padded toward her. They wouldn’t take her as animals. She trusted that they wouldn’t.

She was right. They shifted, one at a time, continuing to move toward her. In only moments, her three sexy men had returned.

“We’re going to take you, baby,” warned Eric.

“Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” she joked.

Dane chuckled. “She’s got you pegged, man.”

Curt, however, didn’t say a word. Instead, he hurled his body on top of her. She let out a small yelp and found herself flat on her back, staring up at his intense face.

“Spread your legs. Now.” An edge to his tone reminded her of his growl.

“Why should I?” she whispered, not out of fear, but out of excitement.

“Because we’re the real bosses around here.” He shoved her legs apart. “Now spread them.”

He didn’t kiss her. He didn’t touch her breasts. He didn’t caress her or say sweet things. Instead, he yanked her body toward him and wrapped her legs around his waist. His huge, hard cock pressed against her pussy.

  “Tell me you want me.”

She couldn’t have said anything else. “I want you. All of you.”

A muscle twitched in his jaw. “Good.” Then he shoved his cock inside her pussy.

The assault was fast, raw, and everything she’d wanted it to be. She sucked in a breath and gripped his arms. His hips thrust forward, each move hard with the muscles in his steel-like legs jumping. He filled her, punishing her vaginal walls for resisting. Her pussy wept with his entry, her clit throbbing as he massaged it, going over and around the aching nub.

“You heard her. She wants all of us, man.” Dane climbed onto the bed then slipped his hands under her back to ease her onto her side. Curt didn’t complain, but kept his gaze locked to hers.

“Eric?” She needn’t have asked. He was already moving toward her head. She opened her mouth and drew his cock inside, then guided his hand to her tit.

Dane’s hand worked on her ass hole, spreading it, urging her tight ringed muscles to give in. He licked his hand then went back to it, now adding his fingers to her dark hole. “Easy, sugar. I’m coming in.”

She gasped, the sound of it traveling along Eric’s loose-skinned cock, as Dane eased his cock inside her. He gripped her hip and began working his cock back and forth, matching his rhythm to Curt’s powerful slams.

Sucking Eric’s cock, she drank in his unique flavor. No other taste like it existed in the world and she would savor it for the rest of her life.

The rest of my life. With them. With my three men.

They touched her, not only with their hands, mouths, and cocks, but with their unspoken commitments of love. They made her body come alive as surely as they’d made her soul come alive.

Their lovemaking was hurried, quick, yet as amazing as the previous times. She understood their need. She craved them, needed them to give her their seed as fast as they could. Tightening her body around their cocks, she saw their surprise when she brought their releases to a speedy head.

Curt closed his eyes, breaking the one, small connection they’d shared, but giving her an even better one as his seed shot into her. She felt its warmth cascading into her then sliding out between her legs. Her body reacted, her climax coming in swift waves.

As though her orgasm had called to theirs, Dane pulled his cock out of her anus and shot his cum over the small of her back. He groaned, but it soon turned into a growl, then a short howl.

She reached out and took Eric’s balls in her hand, encouraging him to turn his release free. He took one look at her, then groaned and tried to pull his cock out. She held onto him, telling him silently what she wanted. Hot seed burst into her mouth and she did her best to swallow all of it, but it was an impossible task.

Together, three bodies uniting as one, they trembled and shuddered their releases to the end. She lay there, unable to move as the men succumbed to their violent orgasms and slumped onto the bed.

“Fuck a duck, but that was good. Too fast, but damn good.”

She giggled, liking how Dane had started using the phrase. “Yeah. Fuck a duck.”

Curt groaned. “I’ll never understand what the hell that means.”

“Like she said before, it means whatever the hell you want it to mean.” Eric stretched out above her and played with her hair.

Dane took hold of the pillow case, yanked the pillow out of it, and began wiping his spent seed from her body. “Quick or slow, sugar, you’re the best.”

“Good enough to take as your mate?” she asked.

“Better than we deserve,” came Curt’s answer.

Satisfied in more than one way, she relaxed, savoring having them around her. After a few minutes, she told them her decision. It was a decision she’d come to before now, but had kept it to herself, making certain she was sure. “I’ve been thinking.”

“Are you sure you want to do that?”

Krystal sensed Dane was setting her up for a joke, but she took the bait anyway. “Am I sure that I want to think? Yeah. Why?”

“Remember, you’re still recovering from passing out.” The left side of his mouth quirked upward. “I wouldn’t want you to hurt your pretty little head.”

She slapped him and then shoved him away when he tried to pull her against him again. Maybe it was a werewolf thing, but these men didn’t need time in between lovemaking scenes to recover. Their cocks were already up and ready for another round. She, on the other, needed to talk about the future.

“Go ahead, boss. What’s on your mind?”

Lying between them gave her more joy than she’d ever thought possible. Yet, maybe, just maybe there was another way to gain even more joy out of a life with them. “I want you to change me.”

Eric sat up and searched her, a worried expression taking over where his smile had been. “Into a werewolf?”

“Yes. Into a werewolf. Like you three.”

“You know you can be part of the pack without going through the transformation, don’t you?” Curt sat up. Unlike Eric’s, his expression was filled with excitement.

“Yes, but they’ll accept me better if I’m one of them, right? Isn’t that what you told me?” They’d told her a lot of things since coming back to their home. Some she remembered. Some, on the other hand, she’d had a harder time grasping. There was so much she needed to learn. What better way to learn than by becoming a werewolf?

“They will. Not that they’d treat you badly if you wanted to stay human. A
s our mate, they’ll treat you as one of our own.” Dane’s earlier joking mood was gone. “Is that what you really want? To change into an animal?”

She took another second to think about her decision. But her mind was made up. “Yes, it is. You guys will help me through it.”

“We sure will, boss. It’s a rough two days as your body goes through the transformation and your inner wolf comes alive, but we’ll be by your side every minute.”

“Then do it.” She took a breath and sat up, holding out her arms. “Bite me.”

Still, they hesitated. She arched her eyebrows. “Well? Are you going to bite me or what?”

“Which one of us should bite you?” asked Eric. His earlier worry had gone. Now an eager glint shone in his eyes, with bits of amber brightening them.

  “All of you.”

“That’s three bites, sugar. It only takes one to change you.”

“Yes, but I want to be changed by all of you. So, damn it, are you guys going to take me and make me a werewolf? Or do I have to get someone else to do it?”

She saw the shift in their eyes first as the amber color overrode their normal color. Then came the lengthening of their fangs. Without shifting any farther, they took her arms, Dane and Eric on her left arm while Curt took her right arm. Growls floated their warm breaths over her skin, but that pleasant sensation was wiped away as their fangs sank into her skin.

Pain seared through her along with a heat that rivaled a blazing fire. She let out a small cry and fell back. Staring at the ceiling, she felt their fangs slipping out of her body.

“I’ll take the first watch,” offered Dane.

“I’ll do the second. Get her under the blanket before she starts shivering,” ordered Curt.

“Take it easy, baby. We’re here. We’ll always be here,” said Eric as he pulled the comforter over her body.

The tremors came then, rushing through her like a tidal wave over the smooth sands on a beach. The world began to spin and darkness seeped into her vision from the corners of her eyes. A fresh wave of pain struck, harder than the previous one. She gasped, sucking in much needed air then let the blackness take her.
